Today is a Band Day
8th Graders: Students that have not signed up for the trip to Springfield should go ahead and do so. There will be a sign up sheet in the office. Partners must both be there to sign up at the same time. Once you have signed up with someone, you cannot change. Your date of the trip will be provided once all students have signed up.
Scholastic Bowl: Scholastic Bowl practice Thursday 2:30 - 3:30.
Newspaper: Newspaper will have a meeting today after school until 3:00 in Mr. Witsman's room.
Student Council: Student Council members candy bar money needs to be turned in by Friday, April 12th. If you have not sold all your candy bars please turn in your money and what candy bars you have left. Please check the student council board to see if you qualify for the trip. If you do not agree with what is on the board, please talk to Mrs. King.
There will be a meeting for all members that qualify to go on the trip on Thursday, April 11th at 7:20 in the band room. If you ride a bus, come as soon as you get here. If you are a car rider please make arrangements to get here for the meeting.
Cheerleading: If any 8th grade student is interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 WHS Cheerleading Squad, please see Ms. Gill before or after school to get an information packet.
Fundraiser: There are green ribbons for sale in the office in support of Brandy Dougherty's fight against kidney disease. The ribbons are $1. Please see the office to purchase your ribbon!
Also there will be a Kick ball tournament held at the high school April 13. Cost is $10 per team of 10 people. Please register with Nancy in the main office at the high school if you would like to enter a team.
