Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! We are extremely excited to welcome you and your students back to school. These past several months have been challenging on many different levels and we look forward to seeing our students back in the building and the progress they will make academically, socially, and emotionally. Here are a few reminders that will help make this year a great success.

- Doors will open at 8:00am each morning. Breakfast will be offered in the cafeteria for students who wish to eat. Students who choose not to eat breakfast will go straight to their homeroom. Walkers and Car Riders will enter the East Side of the building off of Walnut Street.

- Students who arrive to their classrooms after 8:30 will be considered tardy unless they have been eating breakfast in the cafeteria.

- Unfortunately parents will not be able to walk students to their classrooms. There will be multiple staff members throughout the building to help them find their classes.

- All walkers and car riders will exit the building through the East Doors on Walnut Street. Students will not be permitted to exit a different door if they are walking or a car rider.

- Walkers will be dismissed at approximately 2:50pm, followed by car riders, and then bus riders.

- Staff will help direct and guide students to their vehicles, or to appropriate sidewalks if they are walking home. If you park in the North Parking Lot, please ensure an adult walks to the front of the building (Walnut Street side) to pick up students. Students will not be allowed to cross the bus lane to the parking lot. We also ask that you please wait in the car rider line and do not attempt to pass cars to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Other Items:

- Students will be required to wear masks while inside the building unless eating or drinking. Please ensure to pack extra masks in your child’s bag in case there is an issue with their mask breaking, getting dirty, etc. We want to ensure there is no disruption to your child’s learning and having an extra mask or two packed will help with this endeavor.

- Unfortunately, outside visitors to the building during the school day will be extremely limited to minimize unnecessary exposures.

- Water fountains are turned back on, but students may still bring their own water bottles.

Thank you for your help ensuring we have a great school year!
