Updated Football Schedule and Homecoming Game

There have been a couple of adjustments made to both the varsity and junior varsity football schedule at Westville High school.  Please see the attached images for the updated calendar.  Here are a couple of important things to look for regarding these changes.

The varsity game on September 11 will be played at Catlin High School at 5PM

Anticipation continues to build for our first home game at the new football stadium at Westville High School, however between some uncharacteristically heavy rains, minor supply delays, and labor shortages impacted by COVID; the football game on September 11 will now be played at Salt Fork High School’s Catlin field.  While we hoped to be ready to host our first home event on September 11, we are exceptionally thankful for Salt Fork School District for providing an opportunity for our fans to make a short drive to Catlin (opposed to Dwight) to see our team in action.  This will also allow for our marching band and dance teams to participate at this event as well.

A Homecoming Like No Other on FRIDAY Night!

On Friday October 1 at 7pm at Memorial Field at Westville High School the Westville High School Football team will play its inaugural game against Oakwood.  This will also be the Homecoming Game.  This game was originally scheduled for Saturday October 2 (the same day as the dance) due to a lack of available football officials.  However, WHS Athletic Director Mr. Mike Waters worked extremely hard to make arrangements so that game can be played on Friday night October 1 with the dance to follow on Saturday October 2.  This will be the first game played at Westville High School since the fall of 2019.  The facility construction will not be completely finished at this time, but it is anticipated that there will be great turnout for this special event.  For the school that issued in the first night football game, everyone is excited for this new era for Tiger football.
