Today at Giacoma it was the “Cheese Mr. Dees” event and according to Mr. Dees "it was was awesome!" There were 402 students who were only absent one day or less this month - their reward? They got to chuck 402 slices of cheese at their assistant principal during lunch! Whatever it takes ENGAGE students and encourage them to show up and do their best - the Giacoma team is on it. Mr. Dees was a good sport and no assistant principals were harmed during the rollout of this celebration. #ENGAGE#educate#empower #livesofpurpose

Westville School District will be utilizing an E-learning day on Monday January 26. There will be no in-person classes this day. Students have learning materials that have been provided by teachers for review and enrichment that have been sent in packets or electronically.

Westville Community Unit School District #2 is excited to announce the date for our annual Senior Citizen Christmas Dinner. This free event will take place on December 9, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Westville High School’s old gymnasium. Seniors are invited to come out and participate in the activities, visit with friends and neighbors, as well as enjoy the holiday meal and music hosted by Westville School District staff and students. You do not need to make a reservation, just come and enjoy a great meal and fun event!
