2nd grade celebrated December 1st as Candy Cane day! Miss Burke’s class made candy cane ornaments for a fun activity!
These kids are so amazing!!! ❤️ We learned about the creator and history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade; students then created their own parade balloons!! 🎈
After reading Balloons Over Broadway, the story of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade puppeteer, we used the steps of engineering to create our own balloons! We even had our own parade!

Miss Burke’s class is finishing up their engineering unit by solving the problem of “What do you do with a box?”. Students explored the STEAM steps and followed them to make their creations!

The Judith Giacoma Panther Chorus performed today at the Festival of Trees! They did a great job. Thank you to all of the parents who came out and supported them. The Singing Wildcats and Singing Tigers will be performing tonight at 6:30 pm. We home to see you there!
