Jostens will be here before school on Wednesday, April 1st to hand out caps & gowns.
The next book club meeting is today, Tuesday, March 24th. All students are welcome to stop in and talk about books and eat cheese with us. Bring the book that you are currently reading. See Mrs. Balgeman with questions.
If you were in the musical, on stage or back stage, or are part of the play, on stage or back stage. There is a meeting right after school tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25th in Mrs. Strains room. Please be there.
There will be a yearbook meeting Wednesday, March 25, after school.
The DACC Placement Testing has been scheduled for tomorrow, March 25th, 1st hour. For those who have signed up.
There will be a STRIPES meeting after school on Friday, March 27th..
The Drama Club will be performing "The Shadow Stories: A Cursed Play" on Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th at 7 p.m. in the old gym. Tickets are $5.00. All are welcome.

The DACC Foundation Scholarship for the PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS is due by Tuesday, March 31st @ 11:59 pm.
The DACC Foundation Scholarship for all other seniors is due May 1st!
Prom Ticket Sales
*Prom tickets will start being sold the week of March 30th. Below are the dates and times you can purchase tickets. Tickets will be sold in the foyer and will be $40 per person. If you are attending post prom you can get those tickets at the same time and those will be $5 per person.

An informational meeting for anyone wanting to try out for next fall's color guard will be held at 6:30pm on Monday, March 30th in the band room. Anyone who will be attending WHS next fall is eligible to try out. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday with auditions on Thursday next week. If you think you might be interested, come on Monday and give it a try, no experience necessary!
Juniors and Seniors: You have been emailed the One Click College Admit. The easy, stress-free way to be admitted to Illinois public universities and community colleges. No Fees. No Essays! Just complete the OPT-IN form and get ready to receive admission offers next fall. Please fill out with a parent or guardian.
Dual Enrollment students:
Sophomores - you must create a DACC account, do the orientation, and notice - and then sign up today with Ms. Hull for the placement test.
Juniors - If you have an account, please complete the Notice and then sign up today with Ms. Hull for the DACC placement.
NHS and OWL students: Please check your email for important information about the upcoming recognition banquet.
Any student council member who has their extra volunteer service hours done and wants to run for an officer position of: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, or Historian. Please see Mr. Reynolds to obtain your application and speech forms.

The Eastern Illinois University representative will be at WHS on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to discuss EIU opportunities. It will be 9:05 - 9:30 am. Sign up outside Ms. Hull's office. Seniors who have been accepted may touch base if you have any questions!
