A few students took Mr. Witsman's job of leading the class quiz after watching the Week in Rap on Flocabulary! Always trying to keep students informed on Current Events!

8th grade STEM students try to harness the power of wind. They critiqued the design of windmills and propose improvements to the windmill design. Next, everyone will be hired as a lead engineer on design a more efficient windmill.




Student use their scientist skills to try to provide and explanation to our driving question. How do water molecules interact with each other? During this activity students were responsible for data collection, recording observations, and data analysis.

WJHS students did a great job during a fire drill that required a change in their evacuation route! #WeAreWJHS



Full Pull! Students in 8th grade STEM were provided to opportunity to engineer a car with a low gear ratio. Their cars were then put to the test and students then collected data. Looking at the results, some students cars were able to pull over 3 lbs!




What is quantum theory? Students study the anatomy of an atom by dropping markers to show the probability of an electrons location. Students then used data analysis to calculate the different probabilities of the electron’s location.
