WHS POST PROM

Thank you to Professor David Boggs for visiting with the HS band today to discuss marching band and other music opportunities at Eastern Illinois University

The 2021 High School Baseball Season starts April 5. I am not sure of the baseball field we are going to be practicing at or the time (TBA). Those playing high school football or soccer will not be able to begin baseball practice until their sport is completely over (there is an overflow with the sports and the dates). Once your sport is completed, you aren't going to get much rest time because baseball games start very soon afterward. The baseball schedule is not totally complete because of the changing seasons with sports and new rules coming down by the IHSA.
Anyone who has not played a high school sport (Golf, Basketball, Football, or Soccer) must get a sport physical to be allowed to practice or play baseball. If there are any questions, my cell is 217 497 2530 or contact me via email - brazasj@gowestville.org. Call, text, or email me if I have not already talked to you because there are Westville Documents and Forms that you and your parents/guardians must fill out.
Thanks,
Coach Brazas

WHS Seniors

The WHS Golf team battled through tough winds today at Danville Country Club. They fought hard all the way to the end but came up short and finished 6th out the the 9 team field. With the 6th place finish, this concluded the end of the golf season. The team finished with a record of 7-14 and improved everyday. Thank you to everyone who has supported the team this year and has come out and and watched. Thank you to the parents for all the support this year. Thank you to the players for being coachable and giving everything you had this year. Good luck to all the seniors in their future endeavors and for all returners for next year, I look forward to seeing what the future holds!
Thank you!
-Coach Simpson
Go Tigers!

Great job by the WHS Golf team yesterday at the VVC Conference Tournament. They played in cold and windy conditions all day and battled their way to finish 4th out of 7 teams. Special congratulations to Jack Duensing for finishing T6th individually to earn all conference honors. Also, congratulations to Cheyenne Terry for finishing T3rd as an individual on the Girl’s side earning all conference honors.
The WHS Golf team will compete next on Tuesday Oct. 6 in the IHSA Regionals Golf Tournament at Danville Country Club with the first tee time at 9:00 AM.
Great job everyone and Go Tigers!

Look at who joined me on my Jr Chorus Zoom this afternoon. We were just clowning around.
