Come see Westville Drama Club's presentation of the play, "This Is a Test" as Alan Lefenfeld tries to overcome obstacles as he takes the biggest test of his life. Shows are on Friday, April 4th and Saturday, April 5th at 7:00 p.m.in the old gym. Tickets are $5.

The cold and rainy evening was not enough to stop the Tigers... In just 6 inning, Westville defeated Watseka 17-7. Easton Barney came to hit by going 3 for 5 with 3 RBIs and 2 Runs Scored. This effort would earn Easton the Offensive Player of the Game. Easton also threw a complete game victory which puts his overall record to 7-0. The Tigers Alec Davis made a catch in right field that made the Westville crowd hold their breath and then roared when they saw the ball in his glove. This great catch earned Alec the Defensive Player of the Game. One more shoutout goes to Coach Kidwell for making two great coaching calls which earned him the Tiger Necklace. Great job by everybody. Westville will compete on Saturday at 10 am at Westville Baseball Field for a Regional Championship. The winner of Bismarck vs Oakwood tomorrow will face the Tigers.

That is done with Hard Work, Determination, and a Never Say Die Attitude. Keep it up boys. Today, at the field, we celebrated Senior Day. Cameron Steinbaugh was our only senior and this day was one he will never forget. Cam threw a 75 pitch complete game win, allowing only 1 run on 4 hits and 0 walks. He threw 55 strikes out of 75 pitches (73%) which is remarkable. On the offensive side, Cam went 1 for 1 with two walks and an RBI and a run scored. Cam Steinbaugh's effort earned him the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Game.

The Westville Tigers Varsity Baseball Team just won its 20th game this evening. The Tigers traveled to Paxton and won by the score of 13-3. Matt Darling was the man on the bump and threw a complete game compiling 8 strikeouts in just 5 innings. This effort earned Matt the Defensive Player of the Game. The entire Tiger Team earned the Offensive Players of the Game. Every Tiger scored at least 1 run and they're a fun team to watch. Come on out Fri 5/9 at 4:30 pm as we host Oakwood on Senior night/last conf. game.


The Tigers won 10-0 in 6 innings over the Schlarman Hilltoppers. This brings their overall record to 19-2 and 10-0 the VVC. Easton Barney pitched his 3rd consecutive complete game while striking out 8, walking 1, and not giving up any runs. This effort earns Easton the Defensive Player of the Game. Ben Johnson had a huge day at the plate while going 3 for 4 including 2 singles and a triple, with an RBI, 2 Runs Scored, and a stolen base. This effort earns Ben the Offensive Player of the Game. Two undefeated teams in the Vermilion Valley Conference took the field today...The Salt Fork Storm was hosted by the Westville Tigers. The Tigers were ready and it showed as Westville defeated Salt Fork 12-2 in just 6 inning. Cameron Steinbaugh threw his 4th consecutive complete game while striking out 8 and only allowed 1 earned run. This 81 pitch effort earned Cam the Defensive Player of the Game. Cam was not finished just yet, on the offensive side of the ball, he had a 2 run scoring Triple and a Home Run that also scored 2. He scored 3 Runs and added a walk. This effort earns Cam Steinbaugh the Offensive Player of the Game. The team is gelling at the right time and this was a huge game to win. Way to go Tigers. The Tigers are now 18-2 and 9-0 in the VVC.



The JV Tigers made it two in a row with a win over Iroquois West tonight by the score of 8-5! Reid Smith picked up the win on the mound going the final 3 innings, striking out 6, allowing just 1 hit, and allowing 0 runs - earning him the defensive player of the game. The offensive player of the game was Bryson Stanis, who reached base 4 times, tallying 2 hits and 2 clutch RBI. Way to go to all the Tigers!


The JV Tigers picked up an excellent win tonight over Champaign Central by the score of 6-2! The offensive player of the game was Kiptyn Appl - who had an amazing 4 for 4 performance that included a double and a triple! The defensive player of the game was Gavin Long, who was once again great on the mound going 3 innings, allowing just 1 hit, 0 runs, and striking out 6. Great job Tigers!


Westville High School Art Show! The art show will be displayed in the WHS media center today from 5:30-8pm.


Another close one for the Tigers as they won a 5-4 thriller against Milford. This puts them at 8-0 in the VVC and 17-1 overall. Alec Davis went 1-3 with a long 2 run home run that put the Tigers back in the game. This earned him offensive player of the game. Cam Steinbaugh had a busy day at shortstop, making 7 plays, including starting a big 6-4-3 double play in the bottom of the 2nd. This earned Cam the defensive player of the game.

A game between the Westville Tigers and the Armstrong Trojans brought lots of excitement in the 7th inning. The Tigers were ahead 1-0 in the top of the 7th inning. Cameron Steinbaugh was one out away from his 3rd complete game of the season. There were 2 outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd with a count of 2 balls and 2 strikes on the hitter... Cam reared back and threw a fastball striking out the batter and picking up the win. The game took only 70 minutes and the pitchers struck out 18 batters together. Cameron Steinbaugh's effort earned him the Defensive Player of the Game. On the offensive side of the ball, Ben Johnson was the only Tiger to have 2 hits including a double and he caught Cam and did an amazing job behind the plate. Ben Johnson's effort earns him the Offensive Player of the Game. Great job Boys. Westville Baseball's
overall record is 16-1 and 7-0 in the VVC.


The Tigers win again! The sun brought out the bats today as Westville tallied 18 hits. Easton Bolin could not be stopped this evening, where he went 5 for 5 with 3 singles, a double, and a triple. He also added 2 RBIs and 2 Runs and a walk. The effort earned him the Offensive Player of the Game. The Defensive Player of the Game goes to Chance Quick for pitching the 6th and 7th innings and only allowing 1 hits and striking out 3 with Walking no one. Tomorrow (Friday 2/25), the Tigers host Armstrong at 4:30 pm. We would love to see you at the game and cheer us on.

Bryson Stanis earned defensive player of the game honors by catching 6 scoreless innings while allowing 0 passed balls and 0 stolen bases. Nice job Tigers!


The Westville Tigers Varsity Baseball Team have won their 10th game in a row by defeating Danville 16-0. The Tigers improve their overall record to 14-1 and 6-0 in the VVC. Chance Quick was a man on a mission as he threw a complete game shutout while giving up only 1 hit and striking out 3 and walking none. This effort earns Chance Quick the Defensive Player of the Game. The entire team put together 14 impressive hits but the player that shined the brightest was Matt Darling with a 3 hit performance including 2 doubles, 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Matt's effort earned him the Offensive Player of the Game.


The Westville Tigers were stacked up against the Iroquois West Raiders. In this game, the Tigers scored 13 runs in just sixth innings and allowed 0 runs. Great pitching and Outstanding defense was the name of the game. Pitcher Easton Barney had a complete game shutout and threw only 66 pitches and totaled only 1 walk. This effort earned Easton Barney the Defensive Player of the Game. On the offensive side, Jace Smith had a huge day. Jace ended up with 2 singles and 5 RBIs. This effort earned him the Offense Player of the Game. Great job Tigers and don't forget, tomorrow we play Danville at home at 4:30 pm.


The JV Tigers picked up a big win tonight by the score of 15-3 over North Vermilion! Many Tigers had good days at the plate, led by offensive player of the game Boston Carrell and his 3 hit, 2 RBI performance. Ryder Lyons earned defensive player of the game with his stellar day on the mound that included 2.2 innings, 0 runs, 1 hit, and 6 strikeouts. Nice job, Tigers!
