It was a cold, frigid and rainy day but the battle of the Tigers was won by Westville. The Westville Tigers scored 28 runs in just 3 innings and allowed 0 runs on pitching/defense. The Tigers threw 4 pitchers at Urbana and they all did what they were supposed to do with combining for a shutout. The final pitcher, Braxton Barrett, faced 3 batters and struck out all 3 and this earned him the Defensive Player of the Game. At the plate, there were many players with multiple hits/RBIs so this made it hard to name the Offensive Player of the Game. Ean Jones stood out from the rest going 3 for 3 with a single, a double, and a triple (just a HR shy of the cycle) with 3 RBIs, and 3 Runs scored, plus a Hit By Pitch.
