The cold and rainy evening was not enough to stop the Tigers... In just 6 inning, Westville defeated Watseka 17-7. Easton Barney came to hit by going 3 for 5 with 3 RBIs and 2 Runs Scored. This effort would earn Easton the Offensive Player of the Game. Easton also threw a complete game victory which puts his overall record to 7-0. The Tigers Alec Davis made a catch in right field that made the Westville crowd hold their breath and then roared when they saw the ball in his glove. This great catch earned Alec the Defensive Player of the Game. One more shoutout goes to Coach Kidwell for making two great coaching calls which earned him the Tiger Necklace. Great job by everybody. Westville will compete on Saturday at 10 am at Westville Baseball Field for a Regional Championship. The winner of Bismarck vs Oakwood tomorrow will face the Tigers.
